A Yesterday Trip My favorite trip was when I went camping for a few days in “Cajón del Maipo” with my parents and my brothers, I was 6 or 7 years old, I was born in the year 2000 to give you an idea. I have chosen this memory because I consider it symbolic, recalls a primal state of my childhood, in which I experienced an incredible peace and tranquility that contrasts with the rest of my life. I remember seeing how the insects (Gerris lacustris) moved slightly through the river water, I remember understanding the expression "más o menos", I remember seeing the stars twinkle in a huge blue cloak. A significant memory is when on the way to the river I came across an old rusty saucepan that was turned upside down, Curiosity got the best of me and I decided to flip it, when I lifted it, an animal that I could not recognize quickly came out of the darkness, the impression was so great that I ran to where my parents were. I suspect it would be a mouse or a toad.

A country you would like to visit    I would like to travel to England, an island of 55 million people. First, to be able to relate to the great diversity of cultures that speak English, and second to know its archaeological attractions, such as Hadrian's Wall, which was the northern border of the Roman Empire (128 AD), the British Museum, which has an incredible variety of archaeological objects, or Stonehenge, a 5000-year-old megalithic complex. Also, I would like to go because it is where “V for Vendetta” is set, one of my favorite films. If I had the possibility to live there, I would only do it for a few years; I would be interested in exploring and learning about its archaeological attractions. In England, it would be interesting to study Celtic culture, peoples of the Iron Age. As well as, the mummies of the bog, such as the "Lindow Man", found in the northwest of England.                       ...

English words used in Spanish                                We live in a world so globalized that it is impossible to escape English. One of these influences is found in the word “living room” which means “sala de estar” but that nobody uses in Spanish. It is more common to say “living” than “sala de estar” in Spanish. Other words in English that are used in Spanish are: “link”, “shorts” (Latin American), whisky, beefsteak (bistec in Spanish), and others.   I encounter that the English language is a fundamental tool to deal with in this globalized world (because it is the dominant language), for this reason one needs to acquire this tool, not to be left behind.
