                                         English words used in Spanish                               

We live in a world so globalized that it is impossible to escape English. One of these influences is found in the word “living room” which means “sala de estar” but that nobody uses in Spanish. It is more common to say “living” than “sala de estar” in Spanish. Other words in English that are used in Spanish are: “link”, “shorts” (Latin American), whisky, beefsteak (bistec in Spanish), and others.

 

I encounter that the English language is a fundamental tool to deal with in this globalized world (because it is the dominant language), for this reason one needs to acquire this tool, not to be left behind.
